LaDeau Manufacturing Corporation was founded in 1946 by Lester M. Laing and Henry J. Thibodeau, following their wartime service at Lockheed Corporation in Southern California. The company's original niche was as a supplier of hinge assemblies to the post-war aircraft industry. During the decades that followed, LaDeau broadened its customer base. At present, the company supplies precision hinge assemblies that are made to the unique designs of customers, across the full range of durable goods industries. Additionally, we accommodate our customers' needs for standard hinges that are made to military and commercial requirements.
With a continuous history of manufacturing experience, in excess of half a century, LaDeau has developed a wide range of fabricating capability. Material thicknesses from .008 through .250 inches are accommodated regularly, as are pin diameters from .020 through .625 inches. Additionally, La Deau's capacity to achieve customization requirements is second to none in the industry.
Even from its earliest years, LaDeau had earned a reputation for quality. Regardless of whether the customer had ordered product to military or commercial standards, all shipments were required to pass an inspection system that conformed to MIL-I-45208A.
