New York Industrial & Aerospace Hinge Manufacturer

Thank you for spending a few minutes with LaDeau Manufacturing. It is, here, where industrial and aerospace hinges become components embedded in countless types of machinery and structures in New York and throughout the world.

An ‘FD 240’ fire-rated hinge, for example, has the astounding ability to withstand a fire for 240 minutes. Hinges of this caliber, quite literally, keep a fire door in tact to allow people in a fire-ravaged building to escape to safety.

Then, there are hinges that must support gargantuan gates or doors – enter the heaviest hinged door in the US: the US Energy Department’s 97,000 pound door used to shield what is called the Rotating Target Neutron Source-II.  This monstrous hinged panel is almost 12 feet wide and 8 feet thick.

The ease of opening and closing this door is almost ironic since only one person of average strength can, easily, perform this feat with absolute ease.  All the credit goes to the door’s hinges equipped with specialized bearings!  In other words, no hinges, no movement!

The unorthodox demands that industrial and aerospace hinges are subjected to is nothing short of mind-boggling.  With that in mind, industrial and aerospace hinges manufactured by LaDeau are meticulously designed to perform under the most unforgiving conditions to meet the most unusual requirements!

Commercial, military, aeronautical, industrial, and defense applications throughout New York and across the globe turn to LaDeau Manufacturing to meet their hinge needs.

Our Aerospace Hinge Manufacturing Arena

Many of our patrons are aerospace-industry professionals who present stringent prerequisites that dictate how their hinges must be fabricated.  Our tools, talents, and technologies meet every need for our New York customers.

Whatever roles aerospace hinges might play, LaDeau Manufacturing has the expertise to meet any demand.  One interesting example would be folding-wing design aircraft.  The folding and unfolding of the wings changes the aircraft’s configuration, while in flight.  Hinge positions are considerably affected by these operations and ultra-precise hinge movements are, absolutely, vital.

Ensuring flawless performance of aerospace hinges is what we do!  Our Mil-Spec hinges and pins, such as MS20257, MS20001, and MS20253 become destined for aerospace and commercial aircraft endeavors.

Our Industrial Hinge Manufacturing Arena

Industrial hinges are utilized for a multitude of industries including aerospace, medicine, marine, agriculture, infrastructure, and more. Industrial hinges are not purposed for everyday use since their load-bearing capabilities and durabilities are extraordinary and far ahead of the curve. For this reason, industrial hinge manufacturing caters to industries with out-of-the-ordinary demands.

Whether corrosive salt water, bone-chilling cold, scorching heat, or unimaginable pressure, LaDeau’s industrial hinges take on the challenge. Shipping containers, for example, must be able to easily tolerate 192 MT of stacked weight on the corner posts. Our industrial hinges’ incredible strength and endurance capabilities can withstand the most brutal assignments!
